I'm proficient with Git, having used it for almost all my projects. I typically combine it with GitHub for personal projects, but have also used Bitbucket professionally and GitLab more experimentally. I frequently use Git for local projects as well, which never touch a hosted repository. I've found the more coordinated and cautious approach to changes to be very helpful, especially when working with larger teams.
